Is Black New Wave Finally Back? You know how back in the day artists like Prince the Pointer Sisters and Klymaxx had that funky new wave sound? I think newer artists are trying to bring that sound back. I just heard some samples of the new Ciara cd and it sounds very new wave/frestyle from what I heard. Diddy also has some new wave electro jams on his cd. I'm so excited about this but I wonder if it's intensional or not. Was Ciara even born when that sound was around in the 80's? Who influenced her? Diddy already said his album was kind of Prince inspired. | |

influenced? Don't you mean who did they SAMPLE? contrary to popular belief Diddy didn't sample Prince on "special feeling" and that song is badass. too bad it won't be released as a single. | |

oh man, i can't wait for that. have you heard any new tracks yet? He had a couple of them on his myspace page. His new tune is also featured in the new sony psp ad. Real synth-heavy, aggressive stuff. Very good. Not sure if they are still up, though. What did you think about "New Sacred Cow"?
