Gwen & Fergie's performances keep getting worse

WTF?

First Gwen:

I am so glad this song's airplay is already starting to decline...never even made it past 25 million audience impressions.

Now Fergie (I'm pretty sure she was drunk out of her mind):

I didn't know the album was out today. I sorta felt embarrassed for her on Billboard but she made the choice. The music really leaves alot to be desired.

i think it's too soon for gwen to have a new solo album. her first one was a quality piece of bubblegum pop, i thought. she should have just put out a really good remix comp or live/videos dvd or something.

No way, her solo debut was released 2 whole years ago.

i liked her performance and i like the song. people take ALL music way to seriously. can't some of it just be goofy, silly fun?

I'm not sure what it is, but I'm sure it isn't "fun".

I'm all for bubblegum and LOVED Gwen's solo debut but the new song seems void of any hook or melody. How is the rest of the album?

There are better tracks but I think it's still a bad album. I was underwhelmed.

ThuhTruth

The problem seems to be they are singers trying to rap. They should just stop it and sing.

And what bugs me about the Fergie track is that kids probably think all the JJ Fad/Salt n Pepa riffs are original Fergie beats.

Fergie's performance was AWFUL. Her rapping is much worse live then it is on cd, And WILL.I.AM was dressed like the Black Grinch who stole Christmas.

Fergie stood in one damn place the whole time which kind of irked me since she dances like hell in the video. She should just cut wearing heels when she does Fergalicious...

OK, it's obvious that Gwen believes in LSD. Do you think this wind it up is actually a real joke? lol

Fuggy was wrong in so many ways, starting with her alice in wonderland outfit. The real mess was when her song sped up and she had no breath to get her words out. Isn't she familiar enough with her song to know where to breathe? And poor Gwen was just a mess altogether. The song sucked, and while I loved her last album, she undeniably has one of the worst voices ever. I think I tolerate it just because I like her energy/persona. It usually works - but not his time 'round.

I liked Gwen so much when she was with No Doubt. Big fan of her and the way she performed. But now? It's all boring, beat-driven, tuneless crap. Her solo work in general has been such a letdown.

Couldn't give a piss about Fergie though. Gwen disappoints me because I used to consider her a good artist. Fergie never did have talent.

she did alright seemed to have fun with it. but i think live shes prolly more at home n better suited in no doubt settings. usually the no doubt setting isnt so glamourous and no heels or dancers, etc, etc. check out live in the tragic kingdom for good gwen performance.

lol She has this sorta squished face look the whole time that makes it seem like she is focusing REALLY hard to get the words correct, and of course her whole faux-rap was slurred.

You guys know you love this garbage. It gives people something to talk about. Both of them must know that what they are doing is trash and they are horrible. Unless they are always high, there's no way to suck this badly without knowing it.

The rap was hilarious! WTF was up with her enunciation? And why the fuck did she not move? Was it so difficult to do some movements during the "Fergalicious def- def- def-" part? I guess so. She planted her legs and stayed in that position the entire time. So much for working the stage. At least Gwen was a moving target.

OK, someone help me out - how old is Gwen Stefani?

All I could think of when I saw her Wind It Up video was that time Cher tried to be a disco queen.

Ya know, I saw her on VH1's "big in 06" and she wasnt half bad, either. She actually had pretty decent breath control, and the crowd ws def. rockin' w/her. Her performance was actually on-point. i was suprised. At the Billboards, however....

Hot Garbage.
A happy face, A Thumpin Bass, For A Lovin' Race. PEACE.
