Z Cult Favorite/Lady From The Land Electric

Just thought the switch of the words formed a cool phrase.
SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."

And PLEASE nobody use this for a song title. That would be biting in the highest degree. I wouldn't if use this for a song title and I'm the one who came up with it! But uh,...I must confess....it does have a nice ring to it!

On this one thread, I'm going to get a grip of views and no posts. That's cool.

I'm glad that u like it. There's this old episode from The Twilight Zone that's called "The Body Electric". I think that's where Prince got the idea from for the title "The Dance Electric". My re-arrangement of Jimi's title sorta kinda has the same feel as Prince's. And it also evokes The Isley Brothers for some reason. I have some music that would sooooo fit this title "Lady From The Land Electric", it's not even funny. But damn, that shit's to close to Jimi's title. I mean, damn, that's like Jimi's song Purple Haze and then someone else turning around and calling a song Purple Rain. That would be crazy, wouldn't it?

nod Yup, the episode came from Ray Bradbury, from his book and short story, "I Sing, The Body Electric" (he got the title from Walt Whitman's poem of the same name....)

How can you go wrong with it? It's obvious in the tribute sense, yet it's new and ambiguous enough to mean what you want it to.

Have seen that episode but never made that connection.

Yesterday, I copyrighted the title. I had to send off to copyright some songs that I had recently recorded to the U.S. Copyright in Washington anyways, so I just included that title along with the songs. U know Anon, it was because of what u posted that I went ahead and did it. I think I'm going to use u as my muse and inspiration and write the lyrics to "Lady From The Land Electric". In the song, Anon, you'll be the "Lady". Cool?

It's not just you, that's always cool. But how do you know he didn't get the idea from Whitman?

In that poem, Walt writes about "love jelly" wouldn't it be funny if that's what inspired Beyonce's "jelly" song?

Ok. enough about speculation...
Where's the song already?

Aaah yeah, I like that. You've got spunk. First off, you'll never have me confused. I'll always know where u are coming from. Your little babe was just playing. I knew who u were refering to. I just wanted u to respond and say "I know u were the one, silly rabbit." Or some kid-like shit like that. U came close, kinda, with the picture of the sucker. That shit looks good. But I can't fuck with that. It's waaay to sweet .It'll give me a headache. And who said the song isn't finished? The song could have been finished LONG before I even ran the thread about the title. What gets me is why u are uneasy with the thought of u being the subject of my lyrics. That's twice now you've tried to steer me away from that direction. I can ponder on why I believe this to be the case, but like u said, enough with the speculation.
