Buy Any New Albums Lately? It's been a good month or two since I've been to buy any albums. Today I picked up:
Patrice Rushen - Straight from the Heart Clifford Brown & Max Roach (eponymous) Jeff Beck - Truth Jeff Beck - Beck-Ola The first is a vinyl upgrade. I wanna rip open those last two, but they're Christmas gifts for the old man (thanks for the suggestions, tA).

Lemme know how Mr.T likes the JB discs back when Rod was still a Rocker. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. Continuum - John Mayer!! Awesome CD!!
Also considering the new Beck Album(the one where u can make up your own CD cover!!) Also, still trying 2 stock up on my Bowie collection, by buying the 30th Anniversary Edition of Aladdin Sane, with the extra CD!! Also, Under The Skin, by Lindsey Buckingham, Zen guitarist of Fleetwood Mac!! It certainly lives up 2 alll the good reviews it has been getting!!

Lemme know how Mr.T likes the JB discs back when Rod was still a Rocker. tA I'm sure he'll dig them. I listened to them on Yahoo a few times. Nice, especially Beck-Ola. I like the Brown/Roach album and am looking forward to listening it at proper volume level. I gave this one a listen: ...and didn't wholly care for it. Great musicianship, but it felt a bit like background or elevator music to be honest.

One album that still works for me in that setting is McCoy Tyner's... ...Fly With The Wind IMO, in this case they didn't dull the power of his playing. I don't think anything could. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. C'mon y'all."

In the last couple of weeks not much has been going on, i have heard alot but only bought a few. The Beatles "Love", Lindsey Buckingham's new one, George Michaels 3cd set, and Girls Aloud "The Best of" , probably will get Gwen on tuesday just because i have everything from her solo and No Doubt. I've had the album for a few years, but I just bought it on CD. I like the bonus single/12" cuts, too. Breakout is really good as is Remind Me, my fave cut on there (and maybe my fave song of hers).
