Song Prince Should have done(LLoyd - you)

http://www.youtube.com/wa...UqTGv8uDpU

this song is crazy, LLoyd comes correct on it, and Lil Wayne just snaps on this cut, great cut and great vocal interpretation of whoever PM Dawn sampled from.

Prince should do like he did 1989 - 1992 and copy what the other young and upcoming acts are doing, and put his Purple spin on it

Good track, IMO. And I know THAT sample from somewhere. Can't put my finger on it (and no, it's not a Prince sample!!!).

Just watched the whole thing. It's a good track but the only thing strong about it is the part they borrowed from True.

I wonder if a song like this would be as well received as this will be, if there were no music videos.

"Singing" like this, does nothing for me but it will be the future mating call of the now preadolescent girls.
Is it that a cute shirtless guy in a video (even though this one vascillates between cute and Flava Flav) is enough to make them overlook the voice or is this really the voice of choice?

I don't think it's so much the song as it is the whole package.
They're just taking advantage of an entire medium to sell the wares. Guy with a good body, a nice smile, can dance a little, can rap to you, oh...and can sing a tiny bit too...

It's a formula the way the boy band is a formula, and it will always work. It's the stuff teen girls, and boys will always crush on.
