Thanks to Cee for starting this thread. I discovered some new jams as a result. (The Beastie Boys and the 2 Pac jams are awesome!) smile

2 that are missing from the list on here (and also youtube) is MC Hammer's and Vanilla Ice's remakes of "Dancin Machine."

Also, offhand, I'm pretty sure there was a Master P song that had the begining of "Smooth Criminal" (You know the loud boom at the start) in it.

One word: Shaggy. I love Shaggy's remake of "Dance and Shout." While "Shake Your Body" is one of my favorite tracks of all time, that track makes me happy, to know the kids are getting a bit of it.

I'm shocked no rapper has remade Bad. The beat almost lends itself to a rapper IMO.

OK..Well I'm not too hip on what Jackson songs have been sampled, beyond what I added and saw already posted. However, I will be lurking on this thread to find more as it is added. smile

Oh and Cee one more thing...

as Michael would say
I LOVE YOU MORE

Didn't Rob Base sample The Jacksons' "Shake Your Body (Down To The Ground)" also?

I may have heard Black Riot's "A Day In The Life" sampled in the same song. I didn't mention Rob Base at first because that one is not a favorite, but this thread is turning into a list of every Jacksons-related sample.

Yeah I wouldn't say anyone who sampled "Shake Your Body" is a "favorite" of mine.

The Way It Is on the album Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned by The Prodigy samples Thriller.

P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing) sampled by Memphis Bleek and Donell Jones for the song I Wanna Love U.

Wanna Be Startin' Somethin' sampled by Lord Tariq and Peter Gunz on Startin' Somethin' (1998).
