Song Of The Day, "Ordinary Pain", Stevie Wonder. I have recently, rediscovered this gem, off of the SITKOL CD. I like the simplicity of it and it's complexcity. My favorite part is the end, where the girl lets Stevie have it. I was thinking that this is an album that should be required listening in college, but that's another post. Any thoughts on this song? "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"

Why wait for college? SITKOL should be required listening for everybody, beginning in kindergarten Every artist should strive to make an album like that,at some point in their career.

I discovered it in college. Not many albums can even compare in its songwriting, production, lyrical depth, experimentation vs sure shot hit material, sheer consistancy over playing time vs varied arrangements, cover art, originality, vocal performance, etc
Sign O The Times came to mind though.

that part at the end was sort of paid tribute to on Goerge Michael's "Hard Day" At then end George speeds up his vocals and starts talking some trash. Both songs rule..... ______________________________________________

Unbelievable songs. I love how he sings this slightly different melody on some of the "ordinary pain" lines, works so well.
