Birdie is one of the most impressing song I ever heard. The bass in it is....great! Is it Bootsy Collins? If it is, respect to the man! razz

I am shocked to this instant that the wicked beat from Never Buy Texas From a Cowboy hasn't been sampled in a hit hip-hop song.

Prince should cover that some night at 3121.

Shame I can't find these goodies in Portugal. We only have here some Parliamente and Funkadelic albums on stores (only Fnac here as some like Maggot Brain or Starship Connection...)

NewMr7

I think I'll have to check these CD's out.

I have 'Snot Logical' by George 'Dr Funkenstein' Clinton & Pooh Pooh Man and FreekBass' latest album coming from The Funk Store, so I'll have to cop them after that.

I'm also waiting on Bootsy Collin's album 'Zillatron: Lord of the Harvest'. It's meant to be crazy.

I love Funk. Really, really great to see this thread up here ... .
