I know you like "Sometimes", the tune Nik Kershaw did with Les Rhythmes Digitales...Have you checked out his earlier stuff?

Also, if you dig Thomas Dolby, check out his work with these guys:

W-O-W, paligap, thanks a lot for these recs.

Which Nik Kershaw tracks in particular? Are you saying all those records have that similiar sound?

This record:
is standing out to me. I think it's the haircut. Gives me a sense of the sound. cool

Odd song that one. It states it was written in the late 70's, by Michael Jackson, along with what looks like Ryuichi Sakamoto and some other session songwriter. Talk about an odd combo though.

It also predates his first "woman did me wrong" song, "Heartbreak hotel", though the song did not come out until the mid 80's. Clapton did a version aswell, but the raw energy is not present.

i don't think so. He had a hand in writing "cheater" by Jacko I think (its off the box set).

I like his album "pulse". Its very high tech LA synthy as opposed to minni funk. Richard Perry produced the whole thing.

some of her shit really gives me that "thing"
that Soft Cell "Tainted Love"
