Loreena McKennitt...my lastest "musical" discovery! 
Her music is beyond beauty! I can't listening to "Live in Paris and Toronto"!

You picked the album that gave her a goddess-like stus in the folk scene. The Mask & Mirror is also one of my favourite albums by her, just becuz this was the album where her interests in arabic instruments and rhythms got more space and transcended her own musical spectre, which is something I love. Also check out her second "christmas" album A Winter Garden, which is prob my favest album by her. |
