My older brother turned me onto that song. He's a hip hop head; and has that EP single on 12" vinyl.

"Angel (live version*)" b/w "Into The Groove" ?

*disclaimer: not actually live

I like that song, but those fake audience chants annoy me.

It's fun! And I enjoy other fake live songs, like "Together Forever" by Run-DMC.

Forever together,
Run-DMC and we're tougher than leather...

Yeeeaaah. Damn that takes me back to when I was in high school working at Roy Rogers and the second Run-DMC album was still hot at the time.

You know, when he played the record for me, it was definitely a studio version of the song. Not live at all. I think there was an extended version on it and maybe some other mixes, but I'm not hip to her discography so I dunno.

I used to rock the B-side to Hotline. : )))

I don't remember what was on the b-side. confuse I don't even know what happened to my 7". It has since been replaced with this:

I think it was Free Style but that may have been B-side to Boogie Fever?
We all want the stuff that's found in our wildest dreams.

The first album I bought by myself with my own money was "The Gold Experience". I was 13, and in 1995 I still did not have a CD player, so I had to buy it on tape! I hid it from my mother, because I wasn't sure how she'd react to me buying a Prince album. lol

It's still one of my favorites to this day.

I'm gonna join the club cuz I was 13 in '95!!!

I bought my first Cd & cassette from Best Buy...Prince-Controvesy
and on the cassette...The Time-Ice Cream Castles.

At that time I was at the beginning of my Prince collecting phase -it was also my nickname from my peers when I was in middle school when I had made a collage with a jacket sleeve of 1999 (the pic of Prince and the band and Lisa is laying on the platform)at a time when being into Prince (or Symbol at that time) was NOT cool.
