Fire!

...or Flame?

Oh My!
Never saw this video before. It's almost as bad as that slo-mo beach scene in Rocky III. Good thing the music is hot.
Is there a guy that can pull this outfit off today? If so, who? I can't think of anyone.

Hey C, how come you put the "." there? You know, where you had the JT.

I will say, by the time the song is over, they don't look so gay anymore. Well, that one on keys still does.
In the end, good music is the real trendsetter. It makes everything look better.

Those lights at the beginning were about to give me an epileptic seizure. nuts
hmmm With all those angle shots I couldn't tell if Sugar had his wig on straight.

Regarding the gear, I think Charlie Murphy had some good commentary...

That's funny.

What's also funny is that there's nothing really new...things just go in cycles. It's only a matter of time before this silhouette returns. It will probably happen sooner than later. Just can't imagine anyone out there now, pulling this off.

I don't know about that.

For that style to return (we're not even gonna go near the musical/sociological sea change that would have to accompany it), there'd have to be a great deal of gym work involved.

You've gotta be slim and trim to rock that gear.

The cycles of music and fashion are very different. Also, with fashion, all you have to do is put it on. But you're right, you have to be fit for that kind of thing. That's why the delay. It's coming though. Many will fight it but you really can't fight change.

You're also right about what would have to go into bringing that style back. That's why I said silhouette.

What are you worried about? You're in good shape.
