I don't know about Michael I really don't But what I've really observed is that fame, fortune, and power all push emotionally fragile people over the edge. And if that person is young from a dysfunctinal family, then they the fall is even more dramatic.

I dunno. I think I would like fortune for the security of my friends and family. I don't want a huge fortune.. just enough to set-up my family for life and be able to take care of my friends. Then I'd give the rest away to charity. I just don't think people need billions or even millions..

But I sure as HELL wouldn't want fame.. Power well.. no.. But I guess power comes from money?? But power corrupts, ya know?

I think people have to be very, very secure in their own skin to handle huge success like that. People always think failure is what we need to handle, but sometimes success.. like Michael and other have achieved is even more debilitating. And Michael had to support his family... like a lot of other young stars. So I would imagine no one could tell him anything.

I just think it must be very difficult.

Anyway, "Childhood" is from like 1995, so there's a chance he has moved on from that.

Mj doesn´t surround himself only with sick kids and the ones with issues. They´re only the ones bringing the most attention to themselves, maybe cause they´re kids with issues. Remember that back in 1993, HUNDREDS of kids were questioned by the police, none of them said anything. I don´t think that ALL of them were sick and with issues. But he also hangs out with adults as well, we could see that as well with Brett Ratner and others in Home movies.
I am not saying that Mike is not eccentric in any way, but I think that we only see that eccentricity, because that´s the only thing the press is interested in informing us about.

I have to agree with you here, to a certain extent. I think the problem people had with his marriage to LMP, is not why Michael married Lisa Marie, BUT why did she marry him.. No one forced Lisa to Marry him, nor was she some Heather Mill, gold-digger so why did she marry someone who was a suspected child abuser, when she had children herself.? Another thing, Peeps don't want to believe that they had a sex life, even if MJ is a Pedo it doesn't mean he can't have sex with a woman. Infact most Pedos are hetrosexual married men with children of their own.

And from what I know he had first met Lisa when he was 15, and well before any allegations they were FRIENDS, so I don't think he sat down after the first set of allegations and pressurized and forced someone who didn't know him to marry him, just because of the allegations. The allegations obviously played a part in the marriage, but they were probably having some kind of relationship in the first place.

Interestingly enough Lisa once admitted that there might be something to that "daugher looking for someone like her father" psychological theory. And when you think about it, who else is closer to Elvis than Mike?
I mean, they are both childlike, same weird taste for clothes, love for animals (i even heard that Elvis had a chimp too), caring for others etc. And it does not seem accidential to me that their relationship really kicked off during MJ´s drug addiction.
And for MJ on the other side, for the first time in his life he may have felt that someone REALLY cares about him because why would she have married a suspect child-molester at that time. She didn´t even need his money, she was famous enough. Their marriage is not suprising for me, when I think about it.
