No doubt. When Charlie came onboard, I always liked the interaction (music) with Greg. Greg gave you that synth "ish", that is still bangin' in my head today. We used to loop the hell out of this intro. | |

One of my faves from Cameo, which is saying a lot. The bassline in this song is wicked. In the same vein as "I Just Want To Be". I feel "Keep It Hot" is somewhat underrated. Even among Cameo fans. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."

Yeah this is one of those gems by cameo. You know when you talk to white
folk about cameo, they think cameo only had 2 good songs word up and candy. I tell them bullshit. Those songs stale in comparison(actually watered down) when compared to their earlier gems like keep it hot, shake your pants, flirt, soul army, freaky dancing, and i just wanna be. Don't laugh at my funk
