Does anyone watch this show? I caught it skimming channels the other night...itis now scheduled on my DVR

The one for Nirvana's Nevermind album was very interesting. very insightful info. strange to hear band members commenting that alot of their fans never understood what they were about.

Was it on Tube.

it was on VH1 Classic. They rerun them periodically. Nirvana's comes on again on December 4th at 3 pm and 1 am (eastern time)

Recorded one on Metallica too (the Black Album). It was a good one as well. Interesting that the majority of their songs start with riffs and the lyrics come after that, usually starting from a title and going from there.

Never saw the Nirvana one, but I have the Joshua Tree one on DVD. Love the interviews with the band, Brian Eno, Flood, and Daniel Lanois. The entire thing isn't very long, but it gives a glimpse into how the album came together, and gave really interesting insights into the recording process.

VH1 and MTV should concentrate more on this type of programming than garbage like 'Date My Mom' and whatever other crap they show on repeat.
