Yeah, and "School days", produced by Chuck Jackson....

That album contains a remake of The Doobie Brothers' "What A Fool Believes" and a great remake of "Can't Turn You Loose", in which Aretha really turns it out.

Great songs, and let`s not forget the other Jackson-produced song, "Take me with you". That whole album had a different sound, and she sounded great.

She made some really good albums on arista, "Aretha" (1980), "Love all the hurt away", "Who`s zoomin` who" and "Aretha" (1986).

She did however record some rather dissapointing albums for the label, "Jump to it", "Get it right", "Through the storm" and "What you see is what you sweat"

Although I like its parent album, I have NEVER been able to take that song because it sounds EXACTLY like Shitney Houston's "How Will I Know".

Those are two of my favorite Aretha Franklin songs. I never bought any full Aretha Franklin albums though. I strictly stuck to either her 45s or 12 Inches. I did buy the "Aretha" album because it was the only way I could get the song "Can't Turn You Loose".

I hated everything they played from the "Who's Zoomin' Who" album except for "Freeway Of Love". Aretha had started sounding more pop on this album (yuck) and I absolutely hated the song she did later with George Michael.

But Who's Zoomin' Who? ooooozes out of Aretha (don't forget the bridge).
As opposed to the Shitney-Shout that happens on How Will I Know.

"Jump to it" is a good song, i especially like the extended version music

There was also made an 11 minutes long remix later, released on the "Willing to forgive" single, but it`s nothing special...

The 'Who's Zoomin Who' album was Aretha's answer to Tina Turner's 'Private Dancer'.She was aiming for that same pop/crossover comeback.I like the album,my favorite song is the rock-flavored "Another Night".Excellent track, the type of song that Tina Turner would have killed for.I also like the slow jam "Until You Say You Love Me",which could have easily been a single.

The 'Jump To It' and 'Get It Right' albums were both produced by Luther Vandross,by the way.
