now THAT was the shit. i dont care if she's lipsynching. that dance routine was the bomb, the remix was cool as hell (WAY trumps the awful original), her hair was different, she had the number 1 song...

What remix is that?

Dont know the name of the remix BUT thank god it's not the bad Donna Summer melody with a Madonna beat mess of a track that's on the album. "Together Again" and "Again" are my two least fave Janet songs. I'd rather hear "Special" or "Young Love" or "He Doesn't Know I'm Alive." Seriously.

The original is too upbeat and schmaltzy for my tastes, but the Jimmy Jam Deep Mix is one of my favorite Janet songs ever. The DJ Premier mix and the Deeper mix were also pretty great.

As far as the performance, It's alright, I guess. My fav Janet award show performance from that album was 'What About' from the VH1 Fashion Awards. I remember taping that and watching it over and over. I had already seen it on tour, but it seemed different, somehow. Plus, she sings live in this one (or she re-recorded her vocals for the tour, which she has been known to do).
