at least fred schneider seems to have good comic timing, a sense of kitsch, and some idea that he's performing for an audience. i've never really liked ol' einar's voice, especially in comparison to what fred does. i hope i don't get blasted for this - i mean, it's not like i think he's the tony m. of the sugarcubes or anything - but i'm always waiting for him to get it over with so bjork can start singing again. lol

In some songs like "Deus" and "Blue-Eyed Pop", I think he really adds.
