Every segment of early 80s pop culture is represented...it's just perfect...I want to lick it. She's not only singing worshipfully to the tightrope walkers (who are probably also mimes ala Shields and Yarnell) but, they're carrying Japanese parasols and wearing legwarmers  God...all it needs is Hello Kitty, a unicorn and a scratch and sniff sticker collection...
[Edited 11/27/06 7:59am]  That whole tightrope scene made me laugh so hard when I first saw it.  Dan was actually supposed to make me a screencap of it.  (he hasn't yet  ) Those white tights! 
She looks great though in every outfit that she appears in and I love the dancers.  I've come to the conclusion that I was born in the wrong time (yet again) and I should have been one of the background dancers in Xanadu as well as the "Thriller" video.  It would have been so fun!
