Larry Blackmon/Wayne Cooper Jimmy Jam/Terry Lewis Donny Hathaway/Roberta Flack Patti LaBelle/Michael McDonald Rest In Peace To Wayne Cooper. For Cameo. he was the go-to guy for lead vocals on slow jams. BTW, the duo of Larry Blackman/Toni Jenkins were very good with the funk/rock songs.

Of the ones not mentioned in no particular order...
Tricky/Martina Topley Bird - Not really a duo, but her voice is as important to his sound as his is. They seem to have a psychic bond. I can't think of 2 people whose voices compliment each other in a more striking and sensual way. I miss their collaboration dearly. Martin Gore/Dave Gahan (Depeche Mode) - Martin is one of the best songwriters of the past 25 years and Dave interprets his songs beautifully. Mary J. Blige/Puff Daddy - I know that Mr. Combs is a bit of a hack, but somehow they came up with magic on her first 2 albums. Bernard Sumner/Peter Hook (Joy Division/New Order) - The most dynamic guitar and bass combo in modern rock. Miles Davis/John Coltrane - Duh! Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart - Magic! Mick Jagger/Keith Richards - David Bowie/Brian Eno - Their Berlin Trilogy is the most fascinating era in the history of rock.
