i was listening to some bootleg of jacksons destiny tour.
michael jackson was 21 his voice was formed and sounded very raw but not as high as latter days.
on bad tour video michael sings very very high notes in alt voice.
did he use woman hormons to sing higher???
i know many singers did that.

i think the difference you notice is because mike had vocal problems back then {laryngitis or somethin, a fever? } i think he even says it on that bootleg your listening to.

thats why he sounds very raw and he avoids high registers and phrases on that particular leg of the destiny tour

later tours he took better care but on the dangerous tour he had to have surgery on his vocal chords HENCE him having to lip synch on tour.
