Very humorous, eclectic, heterogeneous, wrongheaded or shall i say mixed emotions. I always thought he was taken digs at just being freaky from a perverse sexual or even a political point of veiw. "Richard Nixon". 
"Freaky Deaky" but i didn't know it was about Prince  info...

I've always loved the guitar and vocals on this tune!!
But yeah, apparently it was a response to the fact that at the time, Prince was getting a lot of attention because of his "Dirty Mind" image, and provocative lyrics...and this was a good-natured(but filthy) dig at that..... "Okay we gonna be nasty this year",
