Don't get used to it. lol I'm trying to catch up on other things, so I'm not here at all really anymore. After the new year, I'll likely be here more. But it's always good to talk to and hear from you. hug

my 1978 memory: around this time,I was going crazy over the "MacArthur Park Suite" by Donna Summer.I would hear it all the time on the radio and when I got my allowance,I was gonna buy it.So,I'm at the record store with my mother,I picked up the 12" and took my money out (it was about 4 or 5 dollars). She looked at it and said "Why are you only buying the 12"? Get the entire album...here's some more money" lol

She bought me the 2-LP 'Live and More' album and I was in heaven music

Goddamn, this song is such a guilty pleasure. I was watching fashion week coverage last year and during one of the shows, the DJ looped this song so that the first verse and chorus just played over and over throughout the entire show. Ever since then I bow to this Kenny Loggins/Stevie Nicks duet.

I own every song that's listed on this chart. Either in album form or I have the song as a single. 1978 in general, was a terrific year in music. You just couldn't go wrong. 1975-78 was the golden period of the 70's, I feel. Just like 1980-83 was the golden period of the 80's.
