I need some help from the orgers familiar with New Jack Swing. I am making an album for my inorganic prof off of i-tunes (long story) and I need some songs to complete the album.

A couple songs I was thinking of:

Hmmm, I think 'Vibe' by R.Kelly would perhaps qualify as new jack and it's a pretty rocking song

alot of stuff yall are posting aint NEW JACK SWING, BBD is hip hop rnb, New Jack Swing is more uptempo funk rnb with a hip hip influence, not hip hop beats song over them

The songs that I listened of BBD does have new jack influence. They maybe RNB group but some of their songs are new jack. Just like other artists like Stephanine Mills, and Diana Ross for starters they are rnb musicians but at the same time they also was trying to chase that New Jack sound on their music. Even Al Green had Al B Sure appeared on his song.

When I was introduced to funk back in the 90s, when I was a teen, I didn't know what music it was and I thought that funk and disco was the same but later I learned it wasn't. If you liked listening to the late 80s with the likes of Bobby Brown, Guy, or if you heard some of the danced songs while watching the first House Party movie then you should heard of New Jack sound.
