I know you're not necessarily a fan of Bowie or The Cure, but have you seen their DVD concerts for "A Reality Tour" and "Trilogy"? They're shot and edited in a similarly exciting way that really makes up for not being there. I love this new style. You should check 'em out.

I think you're referring to "Let It Will Be"? She acts like a drunk woman during this performance very Courtney Love-ish That thumping hard beat improves the song tenfold! I need a studio version of this one too.

Its a direct part of the shows best section. Id have rather been without Issac or Like It Or Not rather than Lucky Star. That said, i guess they have to conform to the time restrictons, and we all will have something to look forward to for the DVD release. Lets hope the DVD has some great extras (there's a rumour its got behind the scenes footage, the Coachella gig, and Im hoping well get to see some of the rehersals of Everybody & Deeper & Deeper). Yeah,I'm not even mad that they dropped "Drowned World" and "Paradise (Not For Me)" because,as you say, those two songs do slow down the momentum a bit.So I guess my only complaint is that they dropped "Lucky Star",but hey...it will be on the DVD release have you heard any more news on this? Any rumored release dates? I don't see why they can't release it before Christmas. When I first read the setlist at the beginning of the tour, I was disappointed at how many new songs were included - 10 out of 12. But seeing the show, that's what's so great about it. I have a whole new appreciation for "Confessions" now because of this broadcast.

I wasn't impressed with the editing (although it was live and unlike this, they didn't cut anything). Did you see TRON and Moonbeam? They were at that show too,in the front row.If you watch the DWT DVD,you can see them, jumping up and down during "Beautiful Stranger" and "Candy Perfume Girl"

well, yeah, they're not going to broadcast "Go suck George Bush's dick" on a primetime holiday network special "The world of the heterosexual is a sick and boring life. " -- Edith Massey in Female Trouble
