Anybody else find that Akon guy totally laughable. I don't know why, there's just something extremely lame about him, starting with that name. Makes me think of Acorn and Akron, Ohio, before anything about convicts!

Well, charts are stupid. Anyone who follows charts should check themselves. Is it about the art? Or marketing? They have it down to such a marketing science that they could be selling shoes or anything...

I love how this time of year its almost the same game plan with Labels, if you scan the Top 10 any of the last 10 years its always the same around late november. Theres a NOW cd, theres a Rap Cd that sells for 2 weeks, Theres either a Josh Groban or Boccelli cd, then a few Disney Soundtracks, and then a U2 hits cd, and of course a country cd or 2, and then an American Idol winner or loser.

"We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F

I've recently turned my back on most hip-hop because it sucks nowadays, but the game is the best thing going he has a few songs that will just drop your jaw for how poetic and deeply personal this cat gets.
