IF the Yohembe Brothers counts as a solo joint, I think that ones pretty cool, but like tA said, its the only one I've heard. A happy face, A Thumpin Bass, For A Lovin' Race. PEACE.

MISTAKEN IDENTITTY 1996. Solo debut from '96; blazed the trail for Beck, but more on the blues side o'things. KNOWN UNKNOWN 2004. 8 years later a follow-up, of sorts. Less on the electronica tip* and more of a jazz-fusion outing. OTHER TRUE SELF 2006. More jazz-fusion goodies. A best of 2006. * Look to his collabs with DJ Logic (Yohimbe Bros) for more electronica. FRONT END LIFTER 2002. Somewhat flawed but still enjoyable. THE TAO OF YO 2005. A pleasant surpise. Much better than the premiere! test

You forogt to mention his CD with Bill Frisell "Smash & Scatteration", which is pretty good.

I honestly wish that I knew until now that he had solo CD's. He's a hell of a player. I thought that when the band broke up he was just doing the circuit thing.

Mistaken Identity, it was perhaps my favourite record when I was 17. I found Known Unknown quite poor actually, haven't heard the latest one. Altough I'm felighted that he has made another one.
