Now, perhaps this should b a GT topic, but the reason I posted it was because here's this flick representing a cultural scene in the Twin Cities that seems MILES away from PP. (well it is, actually, considering PP's in Chanhassen, and the movie's set in St Paul, but you get the point...)

But then, reconsidered, here's a movie about a building which houses a regular music-based, multi-act performance to a packed crowd on a weekly basis, and which focusses on the performers on and of the stage. It includes a wisecracking duo, an MC, the threat of the show being axed and overall a little recognized musical subculture.

Ok, it's beginning to stretch a little, but there is Jovetta Steele - is she one of the Steeles?

Anyway, loved the film...

I guess no-one has.

I saw that and asked myself the same question. I think that she is one of the Steeles. Great singer anyway.
