I don't know much about these guys. They're legendary in Japan.

Being a jr headbanger in the mid 80s, I loved these guys! Their album was 'Thunder In the East' and the guitarist, Akira Takasaki, was just crazy with the shred stuff.

To American ears, the Japanese metal singing was a tad campy but very listenable.

Yeah, Akira Takasaki is a bad-ass on guitar; like Prince, he also favors custom-made axes.

I love that little headstock, like a Danelectro or old Gibson Melody Maker.

I do know that he plays Killer Guitars. I think he actually co-owns the company.
