yeah, she is. But there are far worst cases - Victoria Beckham? "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. Ok....NOT
She really is not beautiful at all in my opinion. She has a great voice and I used to like her style in the 90s. But no she is not beautiful and she is so skanky now. She should really opt for more sleek and simple styles, with her hair straightened and nice simple make-up instead of this pseudo ghetto look which looks so ridiculous. And BTW, are those really fake boobs? I mean if I would have my boobs done, I would at least try to have them done properly and not drooping..... Anyways, so many other women that can qualify as beautiful, specially those that look nice WITHOUT make-up. And as far as I know, ultimately men prefer that, women without too much make-up and a natural beauty. For me, at the moment, I am really loving her looks: "When I want to hear good music, I write it myself"

See, now I'm confused. (just thinking out loud here about the whole make-up thing) Men say they like a woman to be "natural" and look beautiful that way, and hate it when they wear too much make-up, or hell any make-up at all, yet women get trashed in pics where they are seen with no make-up on, and then in turn ALSO trashed for wearing it. Which is it? It's a no win situation. I'm telling you: some people NEED some make-up to look alive. and run-on sentences are the new black. Peoples' reactions to these candid shots aren't fair. They're comparing them to posed & airbrushed glamour shots, or how they look after an hour of hair & makeup on TV after editing by professionals. But I think people also enjoy taking "the beautiful ones" down a peg. It hurts to think that Eva Longoria is not only more famous & wealthy than us, but naturally beautiful too. For the record, I don't like too much makeup generally, and the amount of makeup actors wear on TV would probably look weird in real life. Also, if you (or some guy) saw that "woman in the blue hat with no make up on" in person without knowing who she was, you'd probably think she was hot. But the red carpet look can be pretty spectacular. [Edited 11/22/06 11:44am] My Legacy

I've seen pictures of all these women without make-up and hair extensions and yeah Physical beauty can be bought soo easily nowadays that I find it funny when anyone comments on how attractive someone is...you can take out a loan and get plastic surgery and look like a totally different person..shoot look at Ashlee Simpson. A lot of people (but especially men) are confused about makeup, they simply don't know enough. They'll think a woman is wearing nothing at all on her face when many times she IS wearing makeup, it's just toned down & very "natural" looking. When men say "too much makeup" they're talking about drastic shit - loads of eyeliner & lipstick, shocking colors, etc. But they'd most likely ignore a girl with a truly naked face. A friend of mine tells me my skin is so clear I have no need to wear makeup & she can't tell I'm wearing it anyway. What she doesn't know is that my skin looks better BECAUSE of the makeup & you're not supposed to be able to tell I'm wearing it, it's not a fucking mask People just don't get it

Well, to all of it really. I never wear make-up in the daytime (base I mean), but I do wear a bit of blush and mascara, because I'd look dead otherwise. But for going out? I love doing the whole 60s dark eyes thing. When else do you get to play around with all that? But not everything all at once of course: lipstick, shadow, heavy blush, etc. Anyway, I agree about how people (men, usually) can think that you're not wearing make-up when you really are. I pretty much wear foundation every day - my complexion is good but it doesn't have that flawless/glowy thing that a little foundation & bronzer gives you. And I try to stick to the rules - strong lip w/ clean eyes (mascara only) OR smoky eye w/ more pale lips. I've steered so far away from deep lip color lately though, I'm much more into eye shadow these days - it's just fun! Even my "smoky" is pretty demure But I'm trying to get back to the strong lips, they're the best thing on my face
