I don´t know though if he truly owes us anything....He doesn´t have to pay me back for my love and support. He´s deserved already over his life. He´s given me 40 years of entertainment. I can´t expect him to be my slave and entertain me till his death. Not that I wouldn´t miss him. I am DYING to see and hear him again. I miss him incredibly. But Mike´s free to do whatever he wants to do as far as I am concerned. And if he truly comes back again than I will be eternally grateful.
i didn´t expect from him anything last night and ppl who did were quite naive. At some boards pll were even hoping for him to do some new stuff, I mean c´mon. Don´t they know him by now? Mike has always took his time. He´s a perfectionist and it didn´t look like he´s been rehearsing so the way it turned out was exactly what I expected.
And just happy to see him alive and smiling after all that humiliation he´s been through.

I'm happy to see him looking healthier too and glad that he's out and about again. I also really hope he can come back with a good album.

But I think that last night was a missed opportunity that could have won him some respect and time to get himself truly back on track.

yeah, I know what you mean. But he probably didn´t feel ready 100%. So if he performed and was not THE BEST ever he would be criticed and ppl would say he´s lost it. He´s over. So I think Mike is more able to bear criticism for not performing than for giving a bad performance....

"When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

It was widely reported he was going to perform Thriller. Seen as they knew all along that wasn't true and would raise fan's expectations, would it have killed his people to release a statement saying he wasn't performing that song? Because it certainly has put him in a bad light with all the news reports I've seen on TV today. The fact is he DID perform - and not very well either, so much for waiting until he can do it perfect. His voice was very thin and you could hardly hear him over the other singers. Just a shame this has all backfired so badly on him.

I think he looks good but aside from that, I feel that it's a shame that people who say he doesn't look human feel that it's okay to say as much seeing that he IS human and his appearance will never change that fact.

He looks healthier compared to the state he got himself into, yes, but compared to a normal healthy person, no. He's kinda shambolic in the same way Ozzy Osbourne is. And those scars around his nose are never gonna go away. And if you can't see that, then that is simply because some fans let their fandom blind them to the truth. And I speak as a longtime fan of his music and performances.

What the fuck is up with people? Everytime Michael Jackson makes an appearance everyone has to comment on how bad he looks. Even if the muthafucka looks good. He looked great at the WMA's, but shit hey, he looks different than he used to so that must mean he looks bad. It's the same old same old. Anything different is bad. People are afraid of change. Michael changes up his appearance and people don't even give him a chance. They just say how fucked up he looks just because he looks different than before. I reckon if Michael always looked like that, then no one would have a problem with it and no one would say he's a bad looking guy. It's just because he's changed. It's bullshit what you guys go on with sometimes.

Also, I feel slightly offended by some of the comments about how white Michael Jackson is. People say he looks bad because his skin is so white, and as a white person that offends me. If someone said someone looks bad because their skin is so black, shit would hit the fans, Al Sharpton would be on to you.
So yeah. Fuck up with saying white skin looks ugly.

Btw, I've seen the amateau videos filmed by people in the audience, and what I heard was far from booing. You could hardly hear the music because of how loud the audience was screaming. Infact, when the choir was on stage singing We Are The World, the audience was relatively quite, just singing along. But when Michael Jackson came on stage to sing. Holy shit! Every fucker screamed their lungs out and people were chanting "Michael, Michael". You couldn't even hear him because the audience was so loud. They loved it. The British media are just fuckers who think it's still 2002 and that the thing to do is bag on Michael Jackson. But that shit's old now. Giving Michael Jackson shit all the time is old and tired. Just give the guy a break, he doesn't want trouble, he's trying to live his life normally now that the trail is over and all that shit is behind him, he's trying to turn over a new leaf so how about all of you turn over a new leaf and give Michael Jackson a frickin break.

Who's comparing him to anyone else? Not me. I said he looks better than he did. That was all. I didn't say he looked great, even. Just better than he looked before.

something tells me if his brothers were there he would have actually performed something. It may not have been brilliant, it may not have been Thriller, but he would have performed more than a couple of lines. So many peeps have always dismissed his brothers has his backing groups, but they were so much more than that. MJ had so much more confidence on stage with his brothers and it showed on stage. I went to see the Bad Tour and although it was great I knew there was something missing, and apparently his mother felt the same thing too.

MJ was the most talented no doubt, but Jermaine wasn't bad, neither was Tito has a guitarist. And for those who have seen both the Jacksons and MJ solo most will tell you that MJ with his brothers were better. He could actually eeven interact with the audience when they were around instead of just saying "I love You" all the time; check out The J5 in Mexico 75, Destiny and Truimph tours. At least he didn't continuously freeze on stage when they were around, something that is becoming an ongoing habit with MJ over the last 10 yrs.

You really need to stop living in the past.

Mike moved on, he wanted to be a solo star, he had the talent to do it, the others didn't. The End.

am i the only one who's getting worried about his weight? everyone knows when you wear black it makes you look smaller, but it makes MJ look even more smaller, so that means he has to be smaller than he use to be if he looks anorexic in black. take a look at the size of his legs in the pic with the black pants on. hope he isn't denying his nutritional needs....and i'm not saying this to be funny, i'm dead serious. the last thing we need is for another singer to pass away unexpectedly...and for that singer to be MJ would be a catastrophe sad i think i would actually be sad if that happened. the only thing left to do is to pray and hope he is actually healthy.
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

He moved on so well, that the whole of his life is a big mess. He can't even perform anymore, yet he can go to award shows to collect silly awards and soak up the hysteria that naive, deluded fans throw at him. Infact I think his brothers have moved on even better than he has, no one is going hysterical over them, but they are not being called "flops" either and they look 10 times more healthier and better looking he does, even though apart from Randy they are all older than him.

The fact that he can't just retire gracefully when he is unable to perform anymore shows he is the one that can't move on.

This is common for Mike when putting an album together. Too many hours in the studio and not enough meals.

You say changed, like he grew into that face. The fact is his facial skin has been lacerated, pinned, tugged, sliced, pulled into the unnatural face he has now. It is not his natural face = therefore it is unnatural. It's not just Michael, anyone who has plastic surgery too much looks unnatural and gets to the point where there expressions become practically immobile.

Also, I feel slightly offended by some of the comments about how white Michael Jackson is. People say he looks bad because his skin is so white

It's not so much his skin is white, it is whatever piles of make-up he applies on top of his skin that make him look, again, unnaturally white. He is not a natural albino which would explain this. Sure, he's got this skin condition which makes patches of his skin turn white - I guess he had the choice to either make those patches look dark like his natural skin or make the rest of his dark skin look white, and he chose the latter. Again, not just Michael, anyone who concealed their natural skin to the extent Micheal I would say was looking a bit bizarre.

Btw, I've seen the amateau videos filmed by people in the audience, and what I heard was far from booing. You could hardly hear the music because of how loud the audience was screaming. I've seen the tv footage, I've not heard this so-called booing either yet. But it certainly wasn't a confident, good performance. He's done the 'bring on loads of kids' bit over-and-over before and you could hardly hear him sing over the other singers, never mind the crowd. But, you know, blame the continuously over-zealous fans for expecting too much.

If he doesn't want trouble, then let him stop turning upto makeshift awards which are there simply to flatter his ego. And I'd hardly say he's living his life normally, staying at a Shiek's house for ages, forming an entertainment/recording company, then falling out with the Shiek, then wandering around from rented home to rented home he can barely afford these days.
