Any European Journey fans???

I recalled in an interview that Steve Perry said that Journey never really made it big in Europe. I was curiuos if there is any European journey fans, if so name your country.

well, I bought a few of their albums way back then. but I guess that doesen't make me a hardcore fan yet

I'm not European, but I like some of their songs. Like "Stone Love" and '"When The Lights Go Down". But they got caught up in that Power ballad phase that was happening in the mid-eighties. "Oh Sherry" was a good song. But it got played over and over again. I got sick of it.

I dig 'em for what they were in their prime: a great melodic rock band with some catchy singles. Neil Schon was/is one of the most melodic soloists and Steve Perry's voice compliments his guitar well. I have some Journey stuff before Perry came along and though I dig their instrumental abilities, Perry, to me, was the right "missing link" to bring them to a wider audience.
