They are all good, I didn't claim they were the only great guitarists, just wanted to name a few guitarplayers besides the typical guitar players people are talking about on this board, that is Prince, Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, Lenny Kravitz etc

Well, from the snippets I've heard he certainly wasn't bad, but his contribution to the guitarist's armoury will always overshadow his merits as a musician, rightly or wrongly.

He was 18 in that clip!! It's really sad to see potential like that, which was never realised.

biggrin Martino is something else!

I'm always amazed at people with that kind of talent, resolve and determination!

It also reminds me that Larry Carlton had to go through a re-learning, after that shooting...

The human spirit at its best. wink

I'm guessing Carlton had to learn how to talk again based on where he was shot.

This performance by Shawn blew me away...I am lucky that I saw him live in Sweden about ten years ago. He had the most amazing technique but this is good example that he had tons of emotion and feel in his playing. RIP Shawn! (the swede Hellborg on bass)

Kee Marcello (his real name is Kjell Lövbom actually) is a former guitarist in Europe. I wouldn't call him an all time great but he is definately underrated in my book and is above many lauded rockguitarists.
