Bryan Loren (Where is he?)

I liked his production and writing a lot. What ever happened to him? Remember Lollipop Love? lol He played, wrote, produced all of his material, very much like Prince. He can also play some killer rhythm guitar. He went to produce Vesta's fist solo LP. Great CD if you can find it!!

I heard he was very difficult to work with.

I have a copy of his never released album that was supposed to come out on Arista back in the early 90's. Michael Jackson is on one track. This was recorded after "Dangerous." Bryan co-wrote and played on "Black or White."
A few nice tracks on this. I heard he said or did something bad to Clive Davis, and Clive immediately shevled the project! It never saw the light of day.

His first solo album (1984) was the S**T!! Side two is Killer!

Do The Bartman!! (produced and written by Bryan Loren) lol

Hey Tricky2,

Well, it's nice to know people dig my work. It's also nice to get insight into the mythology that goes along with this stuff! Just for the record, MFTNW was released in Japan only, and it was really more about my relationship with Gerry Grifith than it was about Clive Davis. As for me being hard to work with, well, I guess that depends on who I'm workin' with! lol I'm workin' on some new stuff right now that I hope to have out sometime next year. I've got a page over at Myspace if you wanna check that out. Thanx for your interest! B Lo

Wow, hey bryan.

Remember a cut you worked on called "talk to yourself"? If you got any info on that cut, then I know ur the real bryan LOL.

That Japan only album is killer for a guy like me, particually in the summer for some reason, as its so crisp and fun to dance to.

If you liked "superfly sister" by Jacko, then you'd love "music for the new world".
