Good 80's Pop\Hair Metal?

I've been getting into 80's pop\hair metal lately, songs like "still of the night" by Whitesnake, "straight through the heart" by Dio "Monkey Business" by Skid Row or "lay your hands on me" by Bon Jovi. You know, not the power ballads but the rockers. It's an era not rated for it's rockers and I want to find all the good ones, any suggestions?

first thing Dio is not hair metal. Monkey Business by Skid Row came out in 1992.

Throw some White Lion in there too, though they had a ballad hit, tracks like "Cry For Freedom" "Wait" "Radar Love" and the whole "Mane Attraction" Cd which was their last recording, but was a 90's record technically. Also get Saraya's debut album, they only had 2 both were good but the second came out in 1991, the first in 1989, is almost impossible to find, great tracks like "Love has taken its toll" and "Back to the Bullet" one of the few metal bands fronted by a girl.

ok now we're talking. you need to get the following...

Faster Pussycat (the 1st and 2nd albums rock)
G N' R (Appetite for destruction)
Warrant (Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinkin Rich)
Skid Row (1st album)
Poison (Open up and say ahh)
Motley Crue ( Shout at the devil)

That should hold you over for a while!

Yeah Dio isn't really "hair metal" but I'd definitely say he's got a pop sensibility. Slave to the Grind was '91 bu it's so close and has an 80's sound.

Ratt: Round and Round
I listened to a few tracks from that, was a bit too pop\hair for my liking, will probably be the same case with Poison. Considering when anyone tries to defend Hair Metal they say "these guys were called hair metal but bands like Warrant are what Hair Metal is", I think I'll avoid Warrant

Up all night was pretty rocking, thanks.

Trying to get some white lion and saraya, I'll see what that's like.

Man those riffs in "still of the night" and "lay your hands on me", anyone else agree those are pretty rocking tracks.

Def Leppard's "Pyromania" has to be up there among the best pop-metal albums of the 80's. Great record!
