Of course.. I think Kid A is an absolute masterpiece... THis is included Amnesiac.. since its essentially the same era, recordings.. every song on Kid A is innovative to me.. pure bliss

The Bends or maybe OK Computer

I'm not a fan of the post-OK recordings. They're just too weird for me.

I only own The Bends and OK Computer so far but I definitely plan on collecting the rest. They're both brilliant albums, but I think OK Computer just might be the most magnificent, soul-stirring record I've ever listened to in my life thus far. I was moved to tears at the end of it all. A perfect depiction of the coldness and paranoia in our modern world of technology if I ever heard one.

I would still go with OK Computer. Especially listened to on headphones from start to finish, it's coherent, eery and very emotive.

OK Computer, with Hail to the Thief a very close second (it was a return to form, IMO)

I dig the other albums, but those two really blow my mind, to this day.

They all suck.

OK Computer, then Kid A, but The Bends has been closing in.

I don't love every song on Hail To The Thief, but the ones I love are as good as any they've done.

I have to go with OK Computer. It really is one of THE most brilliant, consistent, creative, emotional albums I have ever heard. There really isn't a weak spot on it. As the years pass I've found more to love on each track and that is rare.

Kid A was a huge creative leap it just didn't quite hit me as much as OK Computer.

Kid A as an 'album', all the songs are great, in the right order, it flows better than OK Computer. But there's nothing as good as Karma Police on Kid A, so I think OK Computer is the better 'singles' album, with Paranoid Android and Exit Music, but it also got weaker (still brilliant comparing it to other bands) tracks like The Tourist and Homesick Alien.

So I pick Kid A as their best effort so far, ans that's why I liked The Eraser so much.

I think the next album will be more 'rock' oriented like the first albums, but I hope it will be a return to Kid A form.

'The Bends' is the best with 'Hail to the Thief' a close second.

OK Computer has some of their best work on it, but as an album, there's a couple of tracks that I always skip. With The Bends, that doesn't happen.

Funny, I was just listening to it about 5 mintues before I saw this thread. So I have to pick that one. Another day, I'd say The Bends.

OK Comp will always get the hype because of its success, but I like The Bends as the most accessible album for a new listener to try out, the songs aren't purposely complicated and strange, which KID A and Amnesiac are for most. My top list for RH.

1. The Bends
2. KID A
3. OK C
4. Amnesiac
5. Hail To the Theif
6. Have not listend to Pablo Honey.

I started with the Bends, and at the time thought OK Computer could never be bettered. Kid A & Amnesiac were interesting, & had many highlights, but so many of the songs on those albums feel like they're trapped in a loop...like collections of pattern swatches.

The most recent album tied everything together, sounded focused. Like all the experimentation on the previous 2 albums were used to erect a structure. And, unlike OK or Bends, they had moved beyond those Classic Rock familiar chord changes (except perhaps the last song) to make something uniquely their own.

For me, it's OK Computer but with The Bends in 2nd place. OK C seemed to mark a major turning point for them in a creative sense. I am always thrilled when an artist boldly moves towards a different direction to get a little closer to where they want to be. I think they did it to fulfill a broader musical vision, and this is always a fantastic reason to do such things. They took many risks with this successful album, and so, Amnesiac, Hail to the Thief, and Kid A flowed out quite smoothly as a result. I just figured out how to play "Karma Police" on my piano last night. It's just an amazing song. OK C is brilliant. Their work has been consistently strong and visionary ever since.

Ok Computer is their turning point to greatness, but I really really love The Bends. Fake Plastic Trees is the shit standout cut and the whole record is full of other great tunes. I always feel like listening to Kid A more than OKC though.

The Bends, Ok, Kid A are their holy trinity imo.

HTT is underrated.
