Kevin Federline's ex, Shar Jackson, says media should give him a break

at 21:37 on November 9, 2006, EST.

NEW YORK (AP) - Shar Jackson, the mother of two of Kevin Federline's children, says the media should stop ridiculing the aspiring rapper, who with his break-up from Britney Spears appears to have an even bigger punch-line target on his back.

"He's such a nice guy," the 30-year-old actress tells "Inside Edition" in an interview that was to air Thursday. "He's made some mistakes but everybody else doesn't have the whole world pointing their finger at their mistakes."

Jackson and Federline, 28, are the parents of a four-year-old girl, Kori, and a two-year-old boy, Kaleb. They dated before he became involved with Spears, whom he married in 2004, while Jackson was pregnant.

Spears, 24, filed for divorce on Tuesday. She's seeking custody of their two sons, one-year-old Sean Preston and Jayden James, who was born Sept. 12.

Federline, who's been making the rounds promoting his hip-hop debut, "Playing with Fire," counter-filed court papers Wednesday seeking sole custody and spousal support.

Jackson, who starred in TV's "Moesha" in the late '90s, says Federline does not pay child support to her. But, she adds, "He does pay for their school, and they go to a very expensive private school."

Celebrity divorces, Jackson thinks, are nothing to celebrate. "I don't understand why people take so much joy in other people's pain.

seriuosly, does she even hacea career? what does she do for a living?

by the way, i want to say that the way k fed found out about the news is just so cold and raw. no one deserves to find out they are getting a divorce through a text message and on national television!

Shar sounds like:

1) She either really cares for him as a person,
2) she is a softy for him, and he can do know wrong as far as she can see (I know so many women like that and they're always that way over so-called no-good men),
3) or, yeah, she's the reason for the divorce... disbelief

Shar is right on this one. We all need to stop talking about this piece of trash (K-Fed) already.

Beside, it's bad enough that John Cena don't like the MF neither!!!
lol

this would be a good time for Brit and Shar to get together and beat the hell out of him.

shar should sue for some insane amount of child support...hmmmmm maybe 30k per month lol

and when the judge laughs at Shar for even thinking she will get near that amount, no matter how much Britney has to give Kevin, Shar will see little amount in increase becuz that aint Kevin income it is payment plan not his income.

And why all the hate, on K-fed

Because Kevin is a wannabe gangsta, trailer park trash-living, dead-beat babydaddy bound, lazy, irresponsible, lying, cheating, & steading son of a bitch.....that's why!

TBF, Kevin is better off in the pro wrestling business. He could be a manager for a heel tag-team or something.

I honestly think the media should give him a break, too. They really like being bullies and very easy targets...but if they had an interview with him, they wouldn't talk like that. They talk shit about Paris Hilton, too. but never to her face. It's kind of pitiful. It's also very suprising that of all people to defend him....Shar Jackson!
