I cannot believe that Tamyra was voted off American Idol!!! This is proof that white america has no soul. How the red headed girl could come out on top over Tamyra is beyond me. That girls performances are alwasy flawless. She can sing like nobody's business. What a damn shame.

I'm sure there is a fix to a certain point HOWEVER, if the voting public has anything to do with the results of who gets voted off, it shows that middle America has no clue as to what true talent really is. No way this girl should have been voted out.

Aside from the voting public, if this is more to do with politics, it is so disgusting that the music industry is all about the look as opposed to the voice. That could be the only explanation of how Nikki made it and Tamyra didn't.

I wasn't even saying anything like people didn't vote for her because she was black, more like white America didn't vote for her because they don't get it. My sister and stepdad (stepdad's white) weren't moved by her at all, meanwhile I nearly cried at every performance. She touched me big time, must be my Latin Blood.

I'm not familiar with American Pop Idol but if it's anything like the original UK version all the finalists will get signed up anyway so you'll have plenty more opportunities to hear this girl.

what's to get? they didn't like her, big deal. if she put an album out and no one bought it (another kind of vote), no one would blame it on race...

The voters killed Tamyra. She has such a great voice. It should have been Justin - his singing was shit. Paul, Simon and Randy were very upset by the looks of their faces and there comments. Thanks to Randy he is going to help her and the others too. By the looks of Justin's face, he was not impressed by them offering to help her get a career. Justin is only looking after himself...Justin has a big head and is not as hot as the thinks...I was extremely pissed off. I was crying, it is not fair..this thing is rigged. This is not a white or black issue, Justin is half black and white, so please quit bitching about this racial thing. It sucks. Live in harmony.

Believe it or not, I've chatted with Tamyra on Paltalk. She's on there all the time and isn't bothered by the loss. She has a lot of things going on and just saw it as an opportunity to meet some folks in the business. She has said that some things are a little shady and that a lot of talented ppl were not picked but it's about the trend of music today and not true talent.

A lot of people are complaining about Tamyra getting booted but many people I hear complaining did not even vote. If you wanted her to stay you should have voted. I voted for all of them but Justin.

I'm thinking its pretty simple why she lost...its obvious to everyone that she is amazing...almost in her own league. I think viewers felt she did not need their votes since everyone would probably vote for her...so people gave support to Nikki since she was better than usual...and Justin gets the teenie bopper vote and since he's cute.

I was hoping to see the final competition between Tamyra and Kelly...I think they are both equally talented.

And she is a bigtime Prince fan. Actually I read that in US magazine. I have never seen an episode of American Idol, despite all the hype it has generated. I haven't gotten into any of the so-called "reality" shows. When I do tune into one, it seems like everyone is trying so hard to be real, they come off fake. Just not my cup of tea.
