Next to "Manic monday", this is my favorite song by The Bangles

I always dug The Bangles. Especially their early stuff. I never really liked P's song "Manic Depression". Ooops, sorry. I mean "Manic Monday". Their first few albums like "The Bangles" from 82 and their best "All Over The Place" from 84 showed they were no joke. Of course P's song and MTV blew up "In A Different Light". Actually, my fave song by them is another cover; "Hazy Shade Of Winter".

I have a 1986 issue of Rolling Stone magazine with The Bangles on the cover, and it really helps me remember just how HUGELY POPULAR they were at the time.

My family had "If She Knew What She Wants" on 45.
