Does Anybody Remember That Old-School Singer Lulu?

She had a couple of songs that were played on the radio. Her biggest hit is probably "To Sir With Love". She had a couple of songs during the early 80's then she kinda disappeared from the music scene.
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Shes still pretty well known in the Uk , she had a no. 1 in the 1990s dueting with Take That on Relight My Fire . Her most famous hit over here is " Shout " , you know it , it begins with her going

Cool, great to hear that she's still around. I would love to hear her version of "Shout", that's a great song. Good to know that somebody remembers her. smile

I wish I could find this performance on the Maury Povich Song of To Sir with Love sigh He had these guests on and the crowd had to guess if they were drag queens or real women and this one lady came out and tore that place to the ground with her rendition of that song. It was absolutely amazing mushy

Remember her To Sir With Love very well...

...To Sir with Love! - The Complete Mickie Most Recordings is an interesting disc.

She's actually more soulful that you'd expect.

It has her covering tunes by The Beatles, The Bee Gees, Harry Nilsson, Bob Dylan, Burt Bacharach, Steve Winwood and Elton John.

Mickie Most was also known for producing The Animals, Herman's Hermits, Donovan and even Jeff Beck's first solo record Truth.

Best of Both Worlds is another good tune of hers in that To Sir With Love tradition.

Oh yeah, for MinnieG, she's got a John Paul Jones connection. wink

She was also married to Maurice Gibb, many moons ago.
