It may have been said, but it's worth repeating:
"A Change is Gonna Come" by Sam Cooke and the Rev. Al Green, respectively.

Wasn't it Bonnie Tyler who sang it and not MeatLoaf? I know that Meat's producer and writing partner, Jim Stienem wrote it. Maybe that is why it sounds like Meatloaf. Meat Loafs version is on "Bat Out Of Hell III" and is his new single. The version is quite good. http://www.youtube.com/wa...bXvImgwfSs See the man with the blue guitar, maybe one day he`ll be a star...

Both the Bee Gees' original and Janis Joplin's live version are brilliant, imo. This made me think of "How Can You Mend A Broken Heart." I fell in love with Al Green's version as a teenager, and never knew that it was a cover of the Bee Gees song until much later. I still prefer Al's, but they're definitely two different takes on a heartbreakingly beautiful song. Yeah, love them both.

'It's All Coming Back to Me Now' was written by Jim Stienman and intended for Meat Loaf's 1991 'Bat Out Of Hell 2' but was not used and later given to Celine who had a huge hit with it in '96. It's Meat Loaf's current single from the 3rd installment of 'Bat Out Of Hell'!!!! The Bonnie Tyler connection is that Steinman also wrote 'Total Eclipse of The Heart' as for songs with 2 great versions... MELISSA ETHERIDGE/TRISHA YEARWOOD 'You Can Sleep While I Drive' beautiful! peace Every minute of last night is on my face today....
