YYYeeeeaaahh! Just listened to the the whole album for the first time in 14 years… unbelievable. Red Hot Chili Peppers were my first favorite band and this was the album that hooked me like Maceo Parker's Life on Planet Groove would shortly after.

Seriously though, even if you don't like RHCP & you're only familiar with the recent stuff, give this album a try. Just sit yourself down and listen to the whole masterpiece. Rock + Funk + Punk at its best.

The Peppers are just in a totally different state of mind now. If you want to hear them raw and at their peak… listen to this timeless classic!
