Because most women are to stuck in their ways and too old fashioned to do it. That's why Britney is a breath of fresh air when it comes to women. She is a modern woman. You might want to use the words "some" or "many", because when you say "women" you are implying that all women believe this garbage. When I was little, all I dreamed about was being an animal doctor, screw marriage. Honestly, I'm one of those girls that never wants to get married because, like I said in my post before, I think marriage is pointless. More power to all those who think it's the best thing since sliced bread, but that sure ain't me. The pressure of proposing is always and has always been put on the guy to do.
Yeah, because dropping to your knees to propose requires more pressure and pain, than carrying a child for 9 months and going through labor.  Seriously, like I said, after that the least a man could do is drop to his knees and propose. Only golddiggers care about the size of the ring and that's the guy's fault for dating some chick like that anyway. Personally, I can spot a golddigger from a mile away (they're not hard to pick out). A real man would be honored to not only have his future wife, but the future mother of his children standing before him. If I ever proposed to a guy, then I would have no problem with him pushing out some babies for me while I went off to work everyday to support the family. He can stay at home and cook dinner, clean, and take care of the kids...be Mister Mom. Unfortunately, this will never happen unless all women become extinct and it becames necessary to do this to save the human species; then, science will find a way and since some men aren't willing to degrade themselves by dropping to one knee to propose, there's a strong possibility that impregnanting a man is highly unlikely, so human babies will be coming out of cows. Either way, I sure as hell won't be doing both jobs. If that's the case, what the hell do I need his ass for? I'll buy my own ring, propose to myself, walk on down to the sperm bank, make a baby, and have my own family...there that eliminates the problem of a man even having to "degrade himself" by getting on his knees for me.
