Best 2-song back-to-back thingie you've heard at a club? Ya know when you're at a club and the DJ is playing some hot track and manages to go into another hot track without losing a beat? It truly is a fine art, because beat-matching isn't always easy... The few times I've made miniature megamixes for special occasions I've found this out the hard way, although computer software of course makes this much easier
I can't really say which one is my favorite, but I did hear a good one last night at Sirkus... The DJ was playing Uptown, which is unbelievable because I almost never hear any Prince songs at clubs here besides "Kiss", but anyway, after "Uptown" the DJ went straight into Duran Duran's "My Own Way" without losing a beat So what's your favorite?

I think one of my own best DJ things was...
I was DJing at the party and the tempo kept coming up faster and faster until I was playing "Let's Go Crazy" by Prince.. I realized I could bring the party back to normal with a song at half the pulse of "Let's Go Crazy" so I layered in "Nasty" by Janet Jackson. And to further mellow things out, when "Nasty" came to the "I love this part" breakdown.. I put Suzanne Vega "Tom's Diner" singing into the Janet drums. dut dut deh deh dut d'du deh
