Psychedelia What are the best psychedelic albums?
Which songs would you recommend for a great psychedelic compilation? I need your help: I'd like to burn one or two discs of the finest psychedelic music (pop/rock/soul) ever made. Please post your favourite albums and your favourite songs from them! Any recommendation is well-received! Thank you!

A second vote for The Pretty Things' SF Sorrow! The whole album is a classic!
Others off the top of me 'ead: Small Faces - Ogden's Nut Gone Flake Arthur Brown - The Crazy World of Arthur Brown Pink Floyd - Piper at the Gates of Dawn, A Saucerful of Secrets Aphrodite's Child - 666 Captain Beyond - s/t The Doors - s/t The Electric Prunes - I Had Too Much to Dream (Last Night) Gong - You (OK, maybe more prog. than psych. but it's very trippy!) Something off either of the first two Funkadelic albums would probably fit in nicely as well. Hope this is enough to be getting on with.

I know it's a different time era and all, but My Bloody Valentine's Loveless is pretty damn cool when you're tripping. The songs actually sound better and have more distinct melodies, LOL.
