Album of the day: Frank Sinatra - "Duets" I think there`s mixed feelings about this projectalbum, but i like it, the list of guest appearances is quite impressive...
I would have to say my favorite duet is "Witchcraft", with Anita Baker "The Lady Is A Tramp" (with Luther Vandross) "What Now My Love" (with Aretha Franklin) "I've Got A Crush On You" (with Barbra Streisand) "Summer Wind" (with Julio Iglesias) "Come Rain or Come Shine" (with Gloria Estefan) "New York, New York" (with Tony Bennett) "They Can't Take That Away From Me" (Natalie Cole) "You Make Me Feel So Young" (with Charles Aznavour) "Guess I'll Hang My Tears Out to Dry/In the Wee Small Hours of the Morning" (with Carly Simon) "I've Got The World On A String" (with Liza Minnelli) "Witchcraft" (with Anita Baker) "I've Got You Under My Skin" (with Bono) "All the Way/One For My Baby (And One More For The Road)" (with Kenny G) [Edited 11/2/06 11:07am]

Love this album, and Duets II. Favourite is probably One For My Baby, but whole album is great. I remembering hearing somewhere that Sinatra never sang with any of these artists in the studio...?

I wonder if the songs were put together like the Natalie/Nat "King" Cole duet(s)

The duet with Bono is the only thing there I care about...most of those artists put me to sleep.

hehe, I listened to Duets and Duets II not even a week ago
my fave from both I'd say is "What Now My Love" Vanglorious... this is protected by the red, the black, and the green. With a key... sissy!

I wonder if the songs were put together like the Natalie/Nat "King" Cole duet(s) I never checked to make sure but I pretty much think so... it seems Franks vocals and phrasings sound exactly like they did on his original recordings...
