nope..just albuns from debut 2 Drawing Restraint Number 9. Sadly there's no bonus tracks (x-cept 4 the last album). They're all dual-disc with audio on one side and the videos on the other. They should put some b-sides, remixes outtakes or whatever in a box like this...but no!

I enjoy Gling Glo alot...It took a little time to overcome the icelandic barreer (I'm one of those pathetic souls that likes to sing the tunes while listening to the cd! lol ).

She should a do an english standard album

debut, post, homogenic and (my favorite) vespertime are why I love her

selmasongs & medulla are why I sometimes forget her

drawing restraint 9 is why I wouldn't never listen 2 her albuns if they were like this one

DR9 was the first Björk album that I did not like! confused

The only song I like there is the 1st one "Gratitude"...which doesn't feature her singing!

Strangely my favorite Björk album are Post (lost my Björk-ginity with it) and Vespertine.

Also I tend to listen more to Debut Live than debut

have you revisited them? i like them a lot more now that i've
had some time to get used to them.

still hate that moaning/grunting track on DR9, but i seriously
love all the other songs now.

well, i guess i could do without Ancestors too, lol.

i just don't like all that neanderthal fucking noise going on
whilst i'm trying to enjoy a bjork album.

i admit i haven't listened to much of her music, but i don't really see the appeal of it. perhaps i'll give it another go and see what it does to me this time. shrug

there are some bits and pieces of 'medulla' i don't mind - i like 'triumph of a heart' and one or two of the other songs, and i REALLY admire her willingness to take a risk with an a cappella album; some of it gets a little too obtuse for me, and some of it sounds like recycled bjork 101 music. i thought it was a little messy. and i can forgive DR9 - it really isn't much different than the cremaster soundtracks by jonathan bepler - though as a proper bjork album, i'd say she lost the plot.

A big ol' YAY!

My stereo receiver is being fixed (for like a month now, WTF?) so I can't listen to any of my Björk 'Surrounded' box in surround sound like I'm supposed to. pout

very true. that´s why i was so glad to hear that she´s working
with timbaland on the new album. at least she´ll bring back an
ounce of great beats this time around.

i like my bjork strange and strung out but i also liked her
back when she still did, you know, songs. lol.

i understand her whole primal elemantal animal bones and gristle thing, really. i mean, honest, i do. but meanwhile, miss thing is sitting behind a state of the art console with matmos while she's howling at the damn moon and singing about digging in the dirt with a stick. come on now!
