The Truth & JellyBean's 50th Celebration

Minneapolis musical hero Jellybean Johnson will be celebrating his 50th birthday on Sunday, November 19th, 2006 at The Fine Line, 318 First Avenue North in Minneapolis. In celebration, there will be an “All-Star Minneapolis Jam” featuring The Truth, along with many special surprise guests from The Time, Mint Condition, Prince’s NPG, The Revolution and many others. Doors will open at 8:00 PM, music will begin at 9:30 PM and the cover charge will be $8.00 at the door. For more concert information please contact The Fine Line at (612) 338-8100.

Jellybean Johnson has been a staple on the Minneapolis music scene for over 25 years. He is one of the very few musician/producers to work with both Prince, and Flyte Tyme’s Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, and retains his longstanding friendship with all three. Drummer for The Time and The Family, co-star of “Purple Rain”, songwriter for Janet Jackson, producer for Mint Condition, guitarist for the TC Jammers, the Legendary Combo, The Routine and The Truth, Jellybean is the consummate musician with a heart as big as his resume.

For more information or to schedule an Artist interview please contact Jeff Taube at (952) 948-0050.

So if ya'll ain't in Vegas...it's time 2, hold on 2 yo' wigs!!!!! wink
