Jay Z - "Change clothes" I don`t usually go for this kind of music, you know, Jay Z, P.Diddy, Nelly and those guys, but this song stayed in my head a long time after i first heard it, maybe the video has something to do with it

http://www.youtube.com/wa...BpQFV9e4TQ jay z is NOTHING like p.diddy and nelly. P.diddy has never been an artist; HE NEVER WROTE A SINGLE LINE before his latest album. I don't like the sexism in jay's music and all the bitch, ho talk but he is an immensely talented mc considered by many to be the G.O.A.T. Nelly is not even regarded as an mc but he's wrote alot of hits unlike p. shitty.

I LOVED Jigga´s first album, Reasonable Doubt back when it came out in 96, kinda lost interest after that ( I bought Hardknocklife and have probably listened to it two times, maybe less) but I still like his debut and his style and his serious, no bullshit attitude. I know he can be a mysoginist at times but I still like his personality much more than a lot of other MCs in the biz.
I did like a few occasional songs after his first album though, but never a whole album like I did with Reasonable Doubt. What I read here on the org about him biting BIG´s ans NAS´s rhymes made me change my mind about his creativity, he seems to get a lot of inspiration, for lack of a better word, from other rapper´s rhymes. And does he really memorize all his lyrics and has he never written down a single line on paper ? That´s a bit unbelievable, but if that is true, he has my respect. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

Do you know there is a video on the net of jay punching a women in the jaw then pushing her head? I too thought he was a cool guy; he probably is now; the tape was from 98 hard knock life tour.

That in my opinion is one of the greatest hip-hop songs of all time. Perfect track laced with a perfect hook and lyrics to go! An all time classic....and by the way there is an explanation for that smush on that video...it was part of a movie of some sort...check out allhiphop.com for the full story...if it was true girlfriend would be crazy paid by now!
On another note...the marketing for this guys Kingdom Come is amazing...he's on everything...Monday night football...the world series...TNT basketball games..Budweiser commerials...Jay is really raising the bar in the hip hop game. 1 over Jordan...the greatest since

I really like his new song because the Public Enemy sample is great. I know that P.E. sample is something they sampled but I don't know the original artist's name.

It wasn't part of a movie at all. The women was paid not to speak. Many people contacted her and SHE REFUSED TO COMMENT. It was filmed backstage and ended up on the dvd. Jay ignored requestsa to comment and rocafella tried to make up a story about them 'play' fighting. Clearly she tried to stop him and you can see her head go back as he jabs her in the jaw. She had a camera in her hand and jay was mad cos' she was taking his picture.

I have NO shame in my Barbra Streisand Ultimate Collection cd, Herman. (Even though I've listened to it - what? - once ). Oh, and there's 'Guilty', of course. Seriously, some of the singles I have, in particular - the Hall Of Shame.

That last part is a bit hard for me to believe as well. Otherwise, how would he be paid from his record label for his songwriting credits/splits
