CITIZEN COPE

What do you think of the artist CITIZEN COPE? I have never heard of the artist but I want to get their CD but I dont wanna buy any crap. What's the style? Is it rapping or singing or what..

I would say Citizen Cope "Citizen Cope" is his best CD, but all of his releases are great.

Cope is definitely worth checking out. He is folk/r&b-ish/reggae-ish/funk-ish...just good music.He also used to be in DC band called Basehead.Meshell Ndegeocello popped some strings on his first cd.

Ditto. I think the Clarence Greenewood Recordings is better too. I caught him at one of the clubs here in Atlanta and he was awesome! He had a great band with him too!
